世界の洋上で"災害ボランティアリーダー"の教育プログラムを100人以上に実施してきた話。
災害時には、災害現場に行って炊き出しや泥かきをする以外にも様々な支援の形があり、船上では防災・減災教育、災害ボランティアのリーダートレーニング、復興イベント、災害支援の報告を兼ねた講演などを行いました。
PBVが実施する災害発生時のボランティアリーダーとしての必要な知識を学ぶプログラム。
通常は陸で行うこのプロジェクトを洋上でも開催しました。
毎回20~30名の研修生を募集し、講座やワークショップを通して災害ボランティアに必要な知識や心構えを学びます。
▶︎石巻ひろば
船上のフリースペースを利用して災害講座、被災地写真展、災害支援グッズ展示等を行いました。
東日本大震災で被災した石巻市の地酒の販売も行い、地元の商品を通して復興支援にもつながりました。
▶︎募金活動
日本国内、そして世界で発生している災害等に対して、船内緊急募金を実施しました。
船内で募金を行い、船内新聞にて募金結果の総額を掲載して報告をしています。
毎回たくさんの募金が集まります。皆様のご協力、本当に感謝いたします。
▶︎災害支援報告
”ブロードウェイラウンジ”にて、実際に災害現場で活動したボランティアから報告をしていただきました。
現場の災害支援の種類や活動内容、自身がボランティアに行く意義などを伺いました。
▶︎ピースボートセンターいしのまき
石巻市に拠点を置いて、漁業支援や地域コミュニテイ作り等を実施しました。
This is a story of how we have conducted "Disaster Volunteer Leader" education programs for more than 100 people on the world's oceans.
In the event of a disaster, there are many ways to help other than going to the disaster site to cook food and shovel mud, and we have provided disaster prevention and mitigation education, disaster volunteer leader training, recovery events, and disaster relief reports and lectures on board our ships.
▶︎ Disaster Volunteer Leader Training
A program conducted by PBV to provide participants with the necessary knowledge to become volunteer leaders in the event of a disaster.
This project, which is usually conducted on land, was also held at sea.
Each time, 20~30 trainees are recruited to learn the knowledge and preparedness necessary for disaster volunteer work through lectures and workshops.
▶︎ Ishinomaki Hiroba
Using the free space on board, disaster lectures, a photo exhibition of disaster-stricken areas, and an exhibition of disaster relief goods were held.
Local sake from Ishinomaki City, which was damaged in the Great East Japan Earthquake, was also sold to support reconstruction efforts through local products.
▶︎ Fundraising Activities
Onboard emergency fund-raising activities were held to support the relief efforts for disasters occurring in Japan and around the world.
Onboard donations are made in yen, euros, and dollars, and the total amount raised is reported in the ship's newspaper.
Each time a large number of donations are collected. We really appreciate your cooperation.
▶︎ Disaster Relief Report
At the "Broadway Lounge," the largest hall on the ship, volunteers who actually worked at the disaster site gave a report.
They talked about the types of disaster relief activities and the significance of their own volunteer work.
▶︎ Peace Boat Center Ishinomaki
Based in Ishinomaki City, Peace Boat Center Ishinomaki provided support for the fishing industry and community building.
